Domaine Rossignol-Trapet, Gevrey Chambertin Aux Etelois 2017

Domaine Rossignol-Trapet is a highly regarded family estate based in Gevrey-Chambertin, Burgundy. Established in its present form in 1990, the domaine is run by brothers Nicolas and David Rossignol, descendants of two historic Burgundian wine-growing families. The estate has embraced biodynamic viticulture, becoming fully certified in 2005, and is recognised for its thoughtful, low-intervention approach to winemaking. Covering approximately 14 hectares, its vineyards include some of Burgundy's most prestigious Grand Cru sites, including Chambertin, Latricières-Chambertin and Chapelle-Chambertin. The wines are celebrated for their purity, finesse, expressive terroir and remarkable ageing potential.

This is a particularly interesting village Gevrey-Chambertin because of its vineyard location. Aux Etelois is situated between two Grand Cru vineyards, Charmes-Chambertin and Griotte-Chambertin, giving it an exceptional geographical position.
