Val di Suga is a distinguished Tuscan wine estate in Montalcino, one of Italy’s most celebrated regions for Sangiovese. Its vineyards span three distinct slopes of the Montalcino hill, each with its own exposure, soil composition and microclimate. This exceptional diversity allows the estate to explore the different expressions of Brunello, from elegant and aromatic to deep, structured and powerful. The 2020 Brunello di Montalcino brings together Sangiovese from Val di Suga’s three distinct vineyard sites, creating an elegant yet structured expression of Montalcino. Expect ripe cherry and red-fruit flavours, hints of citrus, spice and balsamic herbs, supported by firm but refined tannins, refreshing acidity and a lingering finish.
