A masterpiece of the Tessari family, the Punta 470 is produced from vines 470m above sea level. If you are looking for the "Next Generation" of Amarone, you have to look higher - Literally. While most amarones are grown in the valley floors, the Punta 470 comes from the high-altitude, volcanic limestone slopes of the Montecchia di Crosara, At 470m above sea level, these grapes enjoy a longer (and slower) ripening season, resulting in a powerful wine that can retain fruit and freshness and is incredibly balanced and elegant.
