Maison Albert Bichot, Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru "Les Sorbets" 2018

Morey-Saint-Denis is located in the Côte de Nuits, between Gevrey-Chambertin to the north and Chambolle-Musigny to the south. The vineyard covers 94 hectares, 41 of which are Premier Cru, and produces almost exclusively red wines from the Pinot Noir grape. This appellation provides a transition between the masculine character of Gevrey-Chambertin and the feminine typicity of Chambolle-Musigny.
"Les Sorbets" is a Premier Cru vineyard situated at an altitude of 250 meters. Its name refers to the rowan tree, prized for its red-orange berries, flowers, and wood, which was once commonly found on this plot.
