Pinino, Brunello di Montalcino, DOCG 2016

Pinino’s history finds its roots in 1874, when the lawyer Tito Costanti, a pioneer in the promotion of Brunello, purchased the property, which has had a pivotal role in the Brunello history. In 1950, it was the first name listed in the register of Brunello producers, as well as being one of the founders of the Brunello Consortium itself.
Today, this tradition is carried on by Ferruccio Ferragamo’s family, the style and strategy set by Salvatore Ferragamo’s guidance.

Pinino estate covers 21 hectares, 16.24 are under vine. The vineyards are located in the area of Montosoli, regarded as one of the best for Brunello. South-east facing, they are characterized by a stony soil, predominantly composed of marl and limestone. The wines are full-bodied wines with good balance of acidity and fruit .
